Practicing Our Faith, 8:30 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.
This informal study group covers contemporary and timeless topics of personal faith, Scripture and how we live in the world as disciples of Christ. This group meets in the first floor Library.
The Christian Concerns Forum, 11:00 a.m. - 11:40 a.m.
This lecture style class welcomes speakers from all over the community. On any given Sunday you might be able to hear from any one of the variety of professors from Notre Dame on topics ranging from John Calvin and the Sacraments to Ethics in Today's Business World. This forum also frequently welcomes leaders in mission in our community from organizations such as Hope Rescue Mission, The Center for the Homeless and The Northeast Neighborhood Food Bank. This group meets in the Music Room on the first floor.
The Witherspoon Bible Study, 11:00 a.m. - 11:40 a.m.
All are welcome to join this class, which can be best characterized as a straightforward Bible Study. Each year a particular book or series of books of the Bible is chosen by the class to read throughout the year. Members take turns leading discussion. The class meets directly below the Gathering Place in the Witherspoon Room.
The Library Class, 11:00 a.m. - 11:40 a.m.
This class, which meets in our newly renovated Library, takes on a variety of topics that rotate throughout the year. Past studies include: parenting, boundaries, marriage, and other family-related topics.
Midweek Adult Education
Sunnyside also hold three Bible Studies during the week. Each group is led by both clergy and lay people, as faithful Sunnysiders come together to discern Gods call on their hearts through scripture. Each group meets in the first floor Adult Library.
Monday Women's Bible Study, 1 st and 3 rd Mondays, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday Women's Bible Study, 2 nd and 4 th Tuesdays, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday Men's Bible Study, each Wednesday, 7:00 - 8:00 a.m.
