James B. Miller, Pastor
The Rev. James B. Miller has served as Pastor and Head of Staff of Sunnyside Presbyterian Church since 1997. He holds a B.S. from Valparaiso University and received his M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary. Prior to serving at Sunnyside, Pastor Jamie served as pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Ottawa, Illinois and as Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Michigan City, Indiana.

Rebecca Kirkpatrick, Associate Pastor
The Rev. Rebecca Kirkpatrick has served as Sunnyside's Associate Pastor since 2002. She holds a B.A. from The George Washington University and graduated from McCormick Theological Seminary in 2002. Pastor Rebecca's leadership at Sunnyside includes Children and Youth Ministries, Adult Education and Mission.

Barbara Wirt , Commissioned Lay Pastor, Pastoral Care Assistant
Barn worked for 42 years as a registered nurse at St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka. In 1998 she graduated from the Presbytery of Wabash Valley Lay Pastor Training course. Barb served as the CLP at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Niles for 5 years.
Barb has served the Presbytery as Moderator (1994), Commissioner to General Assembly (1992), and a member of the Committee on Preparation for Ministry as well as the Committee on Ministry. Barb is a member of the Edwardsburg, Michigan, Presbyterian Church and lives in South Bend. By combining her training and experience in pastoral care and nursing, she brings a unique sense of spiritual wholeness to her caring visits.
Barb will be available for hospital calls as well as nursing home and home bound visits. While she will not be keeping regular office hours, she can be reached through the church office.
